Well, I figured I needed a FAQ, but a lot of the things I'm going to say are not, in fact questions tha I've been asked, or am asked frequently. This is a pre-emptive FAQ, so it's mostly answers to hypothetical questions that people may ask, though a few things will be questions I DO get asked a lot. All in all, it's just a list of things you should know...
- Are there any rules on the forum?
Not really, other than don't be discourteous to others or flame meaninglessly. I don't mind the odd silly thread, but don't spam out of control. That's about it really. Same rules apply to the shoutbox on the main site.
- Will you work on my project?/ Will you draw [...] for me?
You can ask, but I might be too busy. I'm more likely to say yes if you're a regular poster or a friend or something, and if you ask politely.
-Will you write me into the comic?
No. I don't write anybody I know into the comic. Some characters are vaguely inspired by real people, but I don't make people into characters, especially not if they ask.
-Will you write my character into the comic?
Hell no. Though characters I like from other things may make background cameo appearences, I don't fulfil this kind of request.
-I've drawn some fanart, want to see?
Absolutely! Send it to me, or better yet, post it on the forums....The only exception to this rule is if you've done something explicit. I don't really want to see Rekki naked *shudders*
Same rules apply for fanfic/fancomics or whatever.
-Can I use your art for [...]?
If it's non-profit, you can use it so long as you clearly credit me. A link would also be nice. If you're getting money from it, then you'll have to talk to me and come to an arrangement of somekind.
-Can you give me advice on comics/art?
I'll try my best! Make a post about it in a relevant part of the forum and I'll recommend sites and books or give advice, criticism and tutorials for you.
-Why do you draw such masculine women/ why do the female characters outnumber the males?
Because. Just because. If you have a problem with it, I recommend running around in circles really fast until you cacth up with the current time period.
-Will you link to my website?
If I like it, yes.
-Is Juliet gay?
She's bisexual.
