Hehehe. Okay people (I'll try to direct the six wicked fighters here). What I have in mind is a sci-fi comic, possibly sci-fi/fantasy, that involves characters from comics on Hyper-comix by Charil, Kxela, Moonlover, Aluminium Donut, Rei Davidson and myself.
The basic idea I have involves the planet being somehow in danger from something or other, and there being to groups of people out to stop it, the government sponsored and controlled group who are very proper and straight about everything they do and wear flashy uniforms (characters in this group would be goody-goody/conformist/conservative/lawful characters like Rocket) and another group made of crazy vigilantes and mercenaries (as you can guess, characters like Sky and Rekki go here).
Since it's AU, the characters are all alternate versions of themselves. For example, in this world, Rekki's hair is DYED red, not naturally that colour, and her super strength will come from something like a mutation, cyborg implants, genetic tampering or whatever, and she's a rough mercenary who simply likes to think of herself as a romantic knight.
That's all I have so far. Not sure on the main plot. If you got some good villains, we could do with them (or we could collab design villains or something specially for the comic and just have the heroes crossover).

Sounds pretty cool An interesting story you've got going here, not too done-to-death and could make for some interesting work! Naturally details will need to be etched in as things progress but it's really not a bad idea so far! _________________ <3 Charil

'Hypernova' -working title for the comic. Whatever title we use, it ought to contain the word 'hyper' at some point I think.
Idea that came up discussed on hyper chat. This works well for explaining the powers of the various characters in a sci-fi setting, and also forms a good basis for thinking about villains and storylines:
'Skytouched'- People with unusual powers. Though it's known that being skytouched effects the body's genetic structure somehow, nobody knows exactly how, or where the effects come from. The abilities are induplicatable by human science and are beyond our powers of understanding. Some believe it to be a mutation, others a gift from highly advanced aliens, some an effect of cosmic radiation, others think it's the hand of a deity or mystical energy field at work.
Skytouched people are superhuman. Some have enhanced physical abilities, others show wierder powers, such as control of energy that seems like magic. They all share one trait though, either partially or entirely pure white hair. Some will have an area, or patches or streaks of white, others their entire hair will be snow coloured. Some leave it as it is, others take the opportunity to dye it some crazy colour, either to blend in or hide their ability, or to show it off, or be flashy with strangely coloured hair!
This idea helps explain things like the hair colours of...er...lots of characters. Mostly mine and Rei's 0_o' It also explains the powers of the characters, and finally, 'Skytouched' is a much cooler sounding term than 'mutants' and has a slightly mystical sound.
Tech level: Personally I'm thinking Star Wars/Cowboy Beebop/Firefly (Serenity) level technology. So it's advanced, but not super advanced, it can't do literally ANYTHING, and it's uneven, not all people and places have the same technology.

Behold, Sci-fi style Rekki! With short hair omg! I've put her down as 18 since she's almost 18 in FDG, I may make this Rekki older if it makes more sense, not sure yet, it would mean making Rocket older too though, which I don't really want to do (for spoiler reasons). I'm thinking Rekki goes without saying, since everybody likes Rekki and she's easy to draw.
Maybe we should have it so that lots of the characters appear, but some of them have a very major part, and others just make quick cameos or mentions or are recurring background characters.
Hmm, I think so long as we don't go overboard, we can have other characters.The majority ought to be regular Hyper characters, but we can have some originals too.

This has nothing to do with anything regarding characters or whatnot, but I was just lying there and this thought just... sporadically came to mind... is comic mode.
Or rather I should say... would it be in colour or grayscale?
I know two of the members of this little collaberation, three if you count some of Moonie's comics, do their pages in colour. It just popped into my head; would there be one standard mode for all pages, or alternating with artists, or something? :0
